Like most good things in life, our Banana BBQ Sauce was born of failure. Inspired by the flavors of Filipino banana ketchup, we tried to make a sauce that lived up to this scrappy sauces inspiring history. Like a lot of experiments, it didn’t work out 🙁 Stuck, and with a lot of banana condiment on our hands, we were visited by inspiration. What if we combined the velvety sweetness of ripened bananas with the sultry smoke of BBQ? 

Well, we did and the rest is delicious history. A rich chocolate brown, our Banana BBQ Sauce is an indulgent pleasure. Just as sweet as it is savory, you can pair it with nearly any dish. Top up your grilled vegetables, blend it with beans for a smoky dip, or even mix it with vinegar and olive oil to make an out of this world dressing.

Ingredients. Banana (40%), apple cider vinegar, cane sugar, soy sauce, water, onions, molasses, lime, tomato paste, olive oil, bouillon (RR), raisins, rum, liquid smoke, spices, salt, xanthan.  This is a vegan + gluten-free product.
